SN66800174 BIOBRANE Temporary Bio synthetic Wound Dressing, 13cm x 13cm, 5EA/BX

Used on superficial and partial-thickness wounds and donor sites.

BIOBRANE is a biosynthetic dressing made from an ultrathin, semipermeable,

perforated silicone membrane that is mechanically bonded to a flexible knitted

trifilament nylon fabric.

Denatured porcine dermal collagen has been bonded to the nylon/silicone

membrane to provide a flexible and conformable dressing with adherence

properties and a hydrophilic surface.

BIOBRANE is indicated for:

• Covering clean partial thickness burn wounds

• Split thickness donor sites

It is widely used in the management of burns and other skin loss injuries.

How to use

• Apply to a clean wound area that has been debrided of all necrotic tissue.

• Apply dull side down and ensure it is wrinkle free by applying slight tension.

• Secure with skin closure strips, tape, skin glue or skin staples (stapled to itself).
