    Product Accuracy:

Tempa•DOT’s accuracy is the same as, or better than, other thermometers commonly used in a healthcare setting. Each of the dots has its own formulated temperature point that fires at a specific temperature. When a dot fires, its color changes from brown to blue. The number of dots that fire is dependent upon the patient’s temperature. The last blue dot provides the accurate temperature reading.

It is important to remember that axillary temperature readings are routinely lower than corresponding oral temperature readings. This difference is normal and expected.

    Product Information:

Fahrenheit Scale: Oral or Axillary Thermometer,

Celsius Scale: Oral or Axillary Thermometer

    Directions for Use:

    Oral Temperatures:

Unwrap the thermometer and place in the mouth under the tongue into either heat pocket for 60 seconds.

Remove thermometer and wait 10 seconds.

Read the temperature by looking at the last blue dot and discard after use.

    Axillary Temperatures:

Unwrap the thermometer and place high in the underarm with dots facing the torso for 3 minutes.

Remove thermometer and wait 10 seconds.

Read the temperature by looking at the last blue dot and discard after use.

Note: The thermometers above display readings of 98.6°F and 38.7°C. After the 10 second wait time, the temperature reading is permanently locked in.
